Terms of Service
The short version
By using Capsify you agree to follow these terms. The most important parts: be respectful, don't post objectionable content, and don't abuse other users. We can remove content and ban users who break the rules.
Who we are and what this covers
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Capsify mobile app and any related services we provide (together, "Capsify"). Capsify is operated by Binaya Dhakal ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using Capsify, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Capsify.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Capsify.
- You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe.
- You're responsible for everything that happens on your account, including content you post and interactions you have with other users.
- You can delete your account anytime from Profile → Settings → Delete account, or by emailing support@capsify.app.
Acceptable use
Capsify has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to use Capsify to post, share, host, or solicit any of the following:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that sexualizes minors in any way
- Content that promotes, incites, or glorifies violence, terrorism, or self-harm
- Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or threats against any individual or group
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material
- Illegal goods, services, or activity (including drug sales, weapons sales, fraud)
- Spam, scams, phishing, or other forms of deception
- Content that infringes others' intellectual property rights
- Private personal information of others without consent
- Malware, viruses, or content that disrupts the service
You also agree not to impersonate others, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, or use Capsify in any way that violates applicable law.
How we enforce these rules
We review every report of objectionable content within 24 hours. If we find content or behavior that violates these Terms, we will:
- Remove the content immediately
- Suspend or permanently terminate the offending user's account
- Cooperate with law enforcement and report to authorities (such as NCMEC) where legally required
We may take action without warning when the content is particularly harmful, and we don't owe an explanation for enforcement decisions. We do our best to be fair.
Reporting and blocking
Capsify provides in-app tools to flag content and block other users. To report content, long-press any item and choose Report — then pick a category (Spam, Harassment, Child safety, Inappropriate content, Other). To block a user, long-press their content or open their profile and choose Block. Blocking is bidirectional: the blocked user can no longer see your content or interact with you, and their content is removed from your feeds instantly.

Your content
You keep ownership of the content you post on Capsify (photos, videos, notes, comments, etc.). By posting it, you grant Capsify a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate the service — including showing it to other Capsify users in the feeds and capsules you contribute to.
You're responsible for making sure you have the right to post everything you share. Don't post content that infringes others' copyrights or other rights.
Termination
You can stop using Capsify at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice. When we terminate an account, we delete the user's profile and all associated content from our active systems within a reasonable period.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Capsify is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do our best to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, freedom from errors, or that any specific content will remain available.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Capsify. Our total liability for any claim relating to Capsify is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which, since Capsify is free, is zero.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email. Continued use of Capsify after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. The date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were last revised.
